FAQ

Common questions.

Arizona allows defensive driving diversion for most moving violations — speeding, improper lane change, running a red light, and similar offenses. DUI, reckless driving, aggressive driving, and hit-and-run violations are not eligible. You also must not have completed a defensive driving course in the past 12 months. If you're not sure, your ticket or the court's website will say whether diversion is available.
Arizona law requires a minimum of 4 hours of active participation. The course is designed around that requirement — you can't rush through it. You can spread it across multiple sessions and take breaks whenever you need to.
Not at all. You can stop any time and your progress is automatically saved. Log back in with your email and password and you'll pick up right where you left off — even if it's a week later.
Arizona requires you to complete the course at least 7 days before your court date. Your enrollment will show your deadline based on the court date you enter. If your court date is very soon, you may need to request a continuance from the court before enrolling.
Once you complete the course, we automatically transmit your completion record to your court. You don't need to call, mail anything, or show up. The court updates your case on their end. You'll receive a digital certificate as your personal record.
Arizona law requires proof that the enrolled student is the one actually taking the course. At enrollment you'll set up 4 personal security questions. The course will occasionally pause and ask you one of them to confirm you're still present. Your answers are stored securely and never used for any other purpose.
No worries — you can retake quizzes. Each retake draws from a different set of questions so it's a fresh attempt, not the same test repeated. There's no penalty for retaking; you just need to pass before moving on to the next unit.
The course works in any modern browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge — on phones, tablets, and computers. No app to download, no plugins to install.
